Educational Mission Statement

Campus Clubs, U.S. is dedicated to supporting the educational development of all student members. Campus Clubs After School Program curriculum is designed to inspire academic curiosity, motivate student learning and enhance higher order thinking skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math through complimenting the classroom experience through the use of rigorous and innovative, educational resource materials from PITSCO. Each satellite location is designed to assist students with committing to successful, “on time” high school graduation and transitioning to become valued citizens in a global society.

Language Lab

The Foreign Language Club is very intense and interactive requiring a lot of participation from students. It is designed to make the program very flexible and easy to learn. Our desire is to bring the foreign language culturally intact to the youth through technology. Our goal for the student is to learn the language in its authentic and natural manner. This program will be structured with authentic interviews and native speakers in real and natural settings. As a class we will study not only the language but the entire culture (history, art, music, folklore, traditions, and religion). The grammar and the cultural element of the language will be taught and learned as one. Through the actual listening, speaking, reading, and writing the students will learn how the language is actually communicated amongst that particular community of people/country.

There are other stimulating activities that the students will have a chance to participate in outside of the class time, such as film festivals, class trips, and immersion trips abroad to see the community, culture, and use what has been learned in the classroom.
