Leni Wilson

Director of Education

Biography
Miss Wilson is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, she however moved to Macon in her early childhood and graduated from the Bibb County School System. She attended college at Hampton University in Hampton, VA, where she majored in English and minored in journalism. After graduating from HU, she remained in Virginia’s Hampton Roads area where she was lead to serve and work with children and youth. Her experience includes working with children with special needs, at-risk youth, and children with sexual issues. She served as Academic Coordinator with the Associated Marine Institutes, Special Education teacher with Newport News Public Schools and The Pines Residential Treatment Center. In 2003, Miss Wilson enrolled in Troy University, and later received as Masters of Education with an emphasis in Adult Education, Training and Curriculum Design.

In 2005, Miss Wilson returned to Macon, GA. Upon returning she served as an Adjunct Professor of General Education and Learning Support for Central Georgia Technical College. There she taught Interpersonal Relations and Professional Development, Academic Survival Skills and Stress Management. It was at CGTC, that Miss Wilson was encouraged to pursue her passion, Counseling. So, in January of 2009, Miss Wilson in enrolled in Liberty University’s Distance Learning Program to pursue her goal of becoming a Christian Licensed Professional Counselor. Miss Wilson has a strong desire to help people make positive decisions for their lives. She wants others to know that through Jesus Christ, nothing is impossible and they can handle any circumstances that our life’s journey may bring. She has dedicated her life to helping to mend broken people, and accepts this as her life’s purpose and mission. She has been with Campus Club since January of 2009, and is looking forward helping grow God’s Kingdom through our children, as well as making a positive impact on the life of a child.
